Corporate history

1993 Nov	IEJ began research to grow tea in Victoria after being invited by Victorian Government.
1994 Apr	Preparation for starting IEA & 1st proposal to import tea plants.
1994 Jul	2nd proposal to import tea plants.
Till 1995	Discussion with AQIS re method of importing tea plants & conduct tests.
1996 Sep	Settlement of plants at the local nursery & testing of growth pattern & propagation.
2000 Apr	Potential growers visited Japan tea farms.
2000 Sep	Propagation began of green tea plants.
2001 May	1st planting of tea plants began at the farms.
2003 Jul	Preparation for Factory in Wangaratta began.
2004 Apr	Construction of factory began.
2004 Sep	Installation of 1st line.
2004 Oct	Manufacture crude tea began.
2008 Sep	Installation of 2nd line.
2008 Oct	2nd line began operating.
